A retired American Airlines pilot named Terry Barker who was 67 years old is among the victims of Wings Over Dallas air show crash, know his obituary

The mid-air collision of 2 historic World War II-era planes, a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress and a Bell P-63 Kingcobra at the Dallas air show on Saturday, 12th of November killed a group of six people. County Judge Clay Jenkins announced the death toll from the crash through a tweet on Sunday that was 13th of November.

Horrifying visuals have been captured by viewers attending the Wings Over Dallas Airshow at the Dallas Executive Airport at nearly around 1.20 pm. People saw two planes crashing and then breaking apart into pieces. And within a couple of seconds, sku was being covered in a ball of fire. Aubrey Anne Young who was one of the viewers stated, “It was really shocking and horrific to see such things live in my life. I’m still trying to make sense of it.” Nobody on the ground was injured or killed, said the authorities.

Terry Barker Professional Career And Tributes

Keller Mayor Armin Mizani identified one of the 6 people who died in this horrifying incident. He has stated in a tribute, “Keller is grieving as we have come to learn that husband, father, Army veteran also a well-known former Keller City Councilman Terry Barker was one of the victims of the plane crash held in the Dallas Air Show. Terry Barker was beloved by numerous people.“

John Baker, who is a former American Airlines colleague of Barker also stated that they both were based out of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. They were tech airmen instructor pilots who were conducting training until Barker retired 2 years ago after serving 36 years in the airline sector.

“He was truly an enthusiast of aviation,” he stated and added more that after his retirement, Barker got into the commemorative air force and flew the B-17. “He had great skills and abilities with amazing communication skills and Barker also had a great sense of humor and was very professional.”
